If I were to have my non-mos 48 for a 507K, are standard height Ameriglo useable through the window or do I need tall sights like 10-8 48 mos sights?

Sorry for the crappy pic. Can’t get the iPhone to focus right. Anyway you can just barely see the top of the front sight circle. The sight are agents with a .190 front. I’m looking for taller sights but haven’t been able to find a set that will work yet. IMO I think mos suppressor sights would be too to tall.

As stated Agents are barely visible... until you get that little line of hard to get at dust at the bottom of the window. Then they aren’t really useable at all.

I still have a blockage when it comes to a Chinese optic vs Trijicon but they don’t make a g48 sized optic yet.

Do I need a plate for this on a G48 Brownells slide?

Not if you don’t mind grinding off the 2 rear bosses. That’s what my buddy did. Worked fine.



He’s using Ameriglo GL-506 which I personally think are too tall.

Here’s what I use on my Brownells G19 slide with an SRO. I imagine, but can’t promise, this would work on a 48 MOS with a 407k direct mounted. They’re taller than typical irons but shorter than the normal MOS sights. Ameriglo sights.

Would that be the same with a non-mos 48 (that’s what I have)? I’d be milling my 48.
