Not quite as good as with the Shield, but usable enough for back up.

Does the built in rear sight on the 507k occlude any of the sight picture or is it not noticeable?

I started carrying my Hellcat yesterday because I got my Pocket Locker Monday. Yesterday and today were both very low crawl intensive. I can't say that having it in my front pocket was any more noticeable than my 365 in a Pocket Locker; since I wear coveralls things in my pants pockets don't get all filthy, but when I pulled it out today the brightness was turned way down, no doubt from rolling around on it. I guess a holster that encloses the red dot would mitigate that. Or I should avoid gun fights as soon as I come out from under houses. Hopefully I'll get to the range tomorrow and confirm zero hasn't shifted. I wouldn't think it would be affected if it withstand Aaron C's abuse.

I did a preliminary zero today with the 43X/K. So far ok, although these smaller optics strike me as being where the larger pistol optics were a few years ago. I also zeroed a SRO on a G45. Where I am almost ambivalent between irons and optic on a G43X/48, the G45/SRO combo feels like a force multiplier.

I was hoping to run the 507K in auto using just the circle. Unfortunately, the auto setting makes the circle too bright, unlike the dot which seems appropriate intensity on auto.
