That's not right, is it? They look like the SAWs I carried in the late-90s only a lot cooler.

Mk48s are a 7.62 version of the FN Minimi (what the US adopted calling it the M249 SAW), which is why they look like the M249 SAW.

And the scopes definitely look like Specters.

Ah, that's why. I saw 7.62 and my mind went to the M240 and I knew those weren't 240s...
