Thread: Loose plunger tube

    Hmm, nevermind. Turned out there was a burr or something in the tube. The plunger wouldn't slide in so i tried to tap it in.

    Bad idea, now its stuck. I figured i should take a break and ask advice

    One or two drops of Loctite 271 on the pins prior to staking was SOP when I was in the trade.
    Same thing for staking front sights.
    My old Colt got that treatment when the tube came loose 20+ years ago.
    Hasn’t budged since.
