    Trump offers to preemptively pardon Hunter Biden if Joe drops out of race. News at 5:00 PM.

    I note that they don't let you dye your hair in prison? Do they let you dye yourself orange? Might be able to extract it from the jump suit. Couldn't resist, sorry.

    I'm still not sure how Trump stays light years ahead of the competition, but it's pretty funny to watch him do it.

    Last night double extra confirmed it. LOL.

    So be it by order of the City of Chicago.
    Are you saying that the people that imprisoned Blago are lying face down in the Chicago River?

    Or are you saying Blago was innocent?

    Neither of those things.

    But Blago is abso-fucking-lutely guilty. He was convicted on 18 separate charges. 11 related to attempting to sell Obama's senate seat, 6 related to extortion of the board of a children's hospital, 1 for lying to the FBI.

    He was also impeached and convicted in his impeachment trial. The articles of Impeachment Charges were Blago was:

    Plotting to "obtain a personal benefit in exchange for his appointment to fill the [President-elect Barack Obama's] vacant seat in the United States Senate";

    Plotting to extort the Tribune Company by withholding state funds unless it fired certain members of the editorial board who had been critical of the governor;

    Plotting to obtain a campaign contribution in exchange for signing a bill to divert casino gambling revenues to the horse racing industry.
    He was impeached by the Illinois House 114-1 and convicted in his Illinois senate trial unanimously 59-0.

    There can be no doubt that Blagojevich is a corrupt piece of shit and guilty of his crimes.

    It's worth noting that a commutation of his sentence does not vacate the convinctions. The man is guilty of corruption.

    So that corrupt Illinois government that we always hear about stopped being corrupt in this instance?

    Which convictions were overturned and which ones weren't?

    I prefer to look at as days until William Barr goes from the Democrats public enemy number 2, to the exalted defender of freedom and truth. I.E. pulls a Bolton or Comey.

    If there is something damning in the book, I bet dollars to donuts that Trump will float a little butterfly past them and get their heads spinning in a different direction.
    Whether you think you can or you can't, you're probably right.

    Four related to the senate seat. The four where he attempted to trade the senate seat for cabinet positions. The remaining 7 convictions of the senate seat where he attempted to sell the seat remain. The 6 convictions of extortion remain. The conviction for lying to the FBI remains. So, that's still 14 counts not vacated of his convictions.
