Re the quarter zip. I am a big believer in the First Ascent/Eddie Bauer line given their trimmer fit and the avail of Large Tall and XL /Tall

EB is one of the few merchants who will replace gear for life (no longer a refund outside of 1 yr.)

"Our products are built to last. If your Eddie Bauer product fails to perform as designed, bring it back and we will replace it."

Are you sure it was the belt?

I put together an outfit that I must not have used before: dark navy khakis (someone will have to explain how dark navy pants can also be "khaki"), dress shoes, and a quarter-zip sweater. I put on my gun/holster (PX4CC in a JM Wing Claw 2.5), and it stuck out under my sweater like I was pregnant. I thought "What the hell? I wear stuff like this all the time."

The difference was the belt. My "dress belt" for years has been a Daltech Force SuperBio belt, supposedly a "dress gun belt." Yes, it may be a (decent) gun belt, but not for AIWB. In a semi-panic, I switched only the belt to my Graith Specialist, and the gun bulge went away.

This is not an endorsement for any particular product, but just to highlight the importance of your belt choice in making AIWB "work."
You need to try it again, but just changing the shoes this time, to validate it.

Back on topic... What belts you guys using for appendix carry?

I typically use Blue Alpha Gear low profile belt. I like it but it could be better. Also have a leather gun belt from Amazon (dont remember the brand) and it sucks.

Have tried some 5.11 belts but I didn't like them.

I'll give that a try. After all Mars Blackmon says it's all in the shoes (for those of us old enough to remember that)
