    One nice thing about the much-maligned SLS strap is that it keeps the hammer from traveling backward. Or at least it does on my Beretta.

    The newest version of this holster have pretty much eliminated this issue. MY agency just got new 7360 holster for our glocks with TLR1 HL lights and the gap in the rear is no longer there, additionally its always been in the holsters manuals about this larger gap in the rear of the light bearing holsters. MY agency has been using the 6360 since 09 and every year at the range , the range staff reminded everyone about the gap at the rear of the holster and ways to prevent infusions into this area. ITs a train issue as much as a design one. YMMV
