His recurring theme was the disparity of power between the government and the citizens. Didn't like corporations especially monopolies, liked the Constitution when it gave him a point to argue. He did a lot of pro bono work, especially in situations that advanced his 'cause' or allowed him to make an impassioned plea or argument.

txdpd - thanks, that's a great video. The 'crosswind blowing snow creating black ice on a sunny day' thing is real, and a likely contributor to the accident in the OP.
Cheyenne never had litter, because the wind would blow it until the first chainlink fence, for easy collection :-)
