Glow in the Dark Kydex Holster?

Is there such a thing as Glow in the Dark Kydex?

I’m curious. My eyesight is very poor. When I take off my glasses at night, I have a Pelican 3310PL Flashlight on the nightstand next to my watch.

I was thinking a holster made from the same Glow material in Kydex would be easier to see for me? I did a brief search but didn’t locate any suppliers of GITD Kydex sheet.

Anyone know of any holster makers who offer a GITD holster?

I like seeing my flashlight Glow, so I know it’s there, so could it be the same for my nightstand gun maybe?

Or am I missing something, and there is a subtle but critical reason no one is doing this?

    TIA.

Now I want a glow in the dark glock 17 frame.

And now I'll never be happy because there ain't one...

Does your flashlight glow all night? Or just a few hours?

Tritium rear sights? Or put some good glow tape on the holster.

I would imagine the material properties of the type of GITD plastic limits it’s use.

Two other ideas that would be cheaper.

Add some glow in the dark adhesive backed vinyl and add some to your holster.

Or maybe a GITD vinyl sheet laying on the nightstand that you place your pistol on, it’s the visible in silhouette, and you don’t have to worry about finding time to charge with light. This wouldn’t be convient for travel.

County Comm has various glow in the dark tags that they market as EDC gear markers. You could attach one to your holster at night.

No, but I did have an illuminated interior holster a few years back that was pretty neat.
    Think for yourself. Question authority.

I’ve recently tried putting glow duct tape on the beavertail area. I can see it pretty well when I wake up early in the morning. You can do the same with long guns.

I remember that! I thought it was a pretty ingenious idea myself.

I am a GITD addict/nerd, so I’m just loving this idea.

If nothing else, it would always be possible to get some GITD powder or paint and modify your own holster.
