Thread: PSA PS9 Dagger: The next Glock Killa steps up to the plate

  1. #11
Is this going to be available at every retail gun dealer? If not, it won’t go anywhere. Tough to see someone savvy enough to know about PSA and the procedures to buy a gun online choosing this for $300 over a M&P M2.0 at $350, or Glock at $450 (on sale).

The market for $300 handguns is basically walk-in sales to big box dealers.

The Bushmaster end of the gene pool is deep and could keep this thing on the market even if it's junk. If it turns out to be reliable, then people like us will start buying them.

    Only time will tell.

Big difference is if something breaks, PSA will fix it.

I’ve never heard of Glock CS to be exceptionally difficult, and OEM parts are relatively inexpensive and easy to find. Not to mention the deepest aftermarket parts availability of any handgun.

A Glock by any other name...is still a copy of a Glock. Take away the cosmetics and this thing couldn't b e anymore of a copy if it actually said Glock on the slide.

Doubt there is a huge difference between these and the $800+++ Glock clones people get excited over.

PSA will sell a bunch just as they do with all the AR carbines/pistols.

I held the Dagger at SHOT yesterday, and talked to them about it for awhile.

It's actually a very nice pistol.

-Ergonomics were not as good as the Nomad or Timberwolf 2.0 frame. But they are far better then the Gen 3 / Gen 4 Glock. Only one finger groove, and a more subdued grip angle / grip size then the G3/G4.

-Factory M&P trigger is lame, but the gun is drop in compatible with all Gen 3 Glock parts

    -Slide and Barrel are Nitrided

-Comes with real, metal sights, as well as a metal guide rod

-RMR Milled version was on display, will be for sale in the coming months for slightly more money.

Frankly if this didn't say PSA on it, and instead said "POF/ZEV/Agency/etc" it would be entirely believable as an $800-$1200 Gucci Glock. It does not feel at all like a $300 gun.

I can already PSA 'deals' with this being outrageous.

    IE: "PSA Dagger + 10x Magpul G19 Mags + 1000rd 9mm for $500 shipped."

Or: "PSA Dagger Optic Cut+ Holosun 507 for $500 shipped"

PSA is going to sell a metric ton of these things.
