    How would you describe the trigger?

    I didn't pay as much attention to it as I should; probably dry fired it like 5-6 times. Mostly I was interested in the grip angle / feel in the hand.

    From what I recall though, it was basically a polished Gen 3 trigger break, paired with the tactile feel of a M&P trigger. Nothing exciting, but totally serviceable.

    That said, I'd swap it out with a $14 factory Glock trigger and Ghost Edge connector for my own use.

    Per Arfcom:

    https://www.ar15.com/forums/Handguns...age=2#i2206352

    Basic Model (analogous to AR "Freedom Series")
    * Standard-Height Metal Sights
    * Magpul 15-Round GL9 PMAG
    * MSRP: $299

    Accessorized Model
    * Suppressor-Height Metal Sights
    * Threaded Barrel
    * RMR Cut
    * Magpul 15-Round GL9 PMAG
    * MSRP: $350

    Grip Assembly (stand-alone)
    * MSRP: $100

    Ship Date: March 2020

    @ $350 for RMR cut + threaded barrel, I'm sure we'll likely see a $400 compensated 'Roland Ready' model next year.

    A video with more good info on the design:

    -Lots of thought put into grip texture
    -Single finger groove was added due to superior recoil control
    -Nearly all parts including sights coated in lithium infused nitride
    -Future plans for a "19L" model w/ 17 length slide on existing PS9 frame (yessssssss)
    -Will be offering hammer forged barrels in the future

    Would be cool if the gadget was a factory option.

    So how does PSA not get sued by glock? Glock sued S&W some 20 years ago and won as I understand it.

    Have the patents expired? Is it like the Kel-Tec / ruger pattern pistol that apparently is so old no one owns the rights to it anymore? Or maybe PSA is paying a royalty to Glock.

    Not very bright but does lack ambition
    I would be interested if I was looking for a game gun, but...

    Obviously I haven't done an FEA analysis on it. But just thinking about the force vectors imposed by the slide on the locking block and front rails I would say it makes no difference to durability while it's likely easier to manufacture. Win-win.

    In the video they mentioned palm swells. If you freeze frame at ~9:41, you can see the swells. I think I would like them quite a lot.

    Patents typically last about 20 years. The original Glock patents would be long expired. Gen3 came out in '98 so those would have just expired.

    Will the SCD work on it?

    I am against everything PSA stands for and no I don't believe they are anymore pro-2A than the next firearms company. Which is to say they're indifferent.
