Indoor risks with close proximity are going to be higher. Look at the image Aisin Goro posted on transmission in a Chinese bus. Four meters away someone ended up infected due to the aerosolized nature of the virus. That’s ~13’ish feet.

Is the firing lane next you 15+ feet away? No? Then you’re in close proximity.

I don’t trust anyone to exercise appropriate caution at a gun range. We’re talking about some people who don’t wash their hands after being exposed to lead...
    Thank you !

Doesn't help that there are those who will use their credentials and position in the scientific community to espouse political ideals using the gilding of' science" to lend credence and power to there advocacy.

My wife is very much Republican, but that does not mean that she agrees with the orange tweeter’s understanding of science. (It took me a long time to compose that in a diplomatic way, so as to avoid putting words in her mouth, and, to hopefully avoid finding myself in the dog house.)

If I spoke my true feelings about the demoncrat or republican parties, well, let’s just say that it would be off-topic to the point of derailing this thread. I can hope and pray that the administration puts some capable boots on the ground, and then stays out of their way.
    Retar’d LE. Kinesthetic dufus.

Has anybody seen this from the Ohio department of Health?

Whenever you know of 2 people that have it due to community spread, then you can assume that 1% of your population has it," said ODH Press Secretary Melanie Amato, citing a 2017 Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report from the CDC.

I’m still trying to find the “cited” report.

ETA: Semantic point: A “foreign viral invasion” really makes no sense from a biological perspective. 1) Invasion is an anthropocentric concept, viruses do not “invade” that implies active choice, there is no active force within a virus. 2) Viruses give zero fucks about geopolitical boundaries.
This must be like the invasion of foreigners from MX/SA. Build the damn virus wall already.

Never mind. The foreign invaders are already here.

At least we may have stopped some of the German viruses from gaining a stronghold but I think we have forgot the Irish. Rethink this.

"After problems arose with the C.D.C.’s test, officials could have switched to using successful tests that other countries were already using. But the officials refused to do so, essentially because it would have required changing bureaucratic procedures.

The federal government could also have eased regulations on American hospitals and laboratories, to allow them to create and manufacture their own tests, as Melissa Miller of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine told The Washington Post. But federal officials did not do so for weeks."

This would have been the case regardless of the political party of the the presidency.
