Bobro mount for Aimpoint Micro - question on height and lever side

    Hi all,

I am planning to purchase a Bobro mount for an Aimpoint T-2 I plan to also purchase very soon. This combo will be replacing an Aimpoint PRO with factory mount. I'd like your recommendation on which mount height you'd recommend for a 16" BCM carbine. Initially I was considering the lower 1/3 height, but then I noticed they offer a High 1.7" height. What is the difference between the two and what criteria/use case would I use to choose? Only maybe 10% of my shooting is done from the prone. Also, which side would you recommend I choose for the lever? I was thinking left side, which would offer better protection when the rifle is slinged against my body and while shooting right-handed. Why would I choose a right side lever? Thanks for your time.

    Chris

I haven't used a mount that high. I assume it is made for those who might shoot with a pro mask or NOGs in place.
