I don't see it either. The hard left wing would make an exception for Bernie because who else do they have, but they won't give Biden a second look. For most it won't be a change from what they already have with Trump.

I just talked to two millenials that recently bought a house. They secured a 3% loan, they both have good jobs, and have money to travel. I know several in that position so I really don't think Biden is a practical change for them. Socialism is an idea that doesn't carry over well in the US economic structure. It sounds good on paper but the reality is nobody wants to pay for it, especially anyone that has any money in the bank or invested. Mostly I see socialism entrenched in academia but that isn't the real world. Very few people can actually live there.

Probably vote 3rd party protest or stay home and T locks down another one.

My colleague Marc Caputo said on Twitter that a Democratic operative with presidential campaign experience described the likely 2020 race like this: “the nice old guy with Alzheimer’s against the mean old man with dementia.”

I just don't see how you can look at this election and think what we really need is yet another drowsy, eldritch horror. I mean Chthulu? He's just another R'Lyeh elitist and the way I figure it a drowned city is just another way of saying swamp-town. If you really want to set the electorate on fire you need to bring the youth. There's only one candidate that can bring the young like that:

    Iä! Shub-Niggurath!! 2020!

It looks like Mini Mike's ardor about 2020 is cooling off a bit- People Paid To Tell America Who Bloomberg Is Find Out Who Bloomberg Is

This week however, many Bloomberg campaign employees in non-battleground states learned their “guaranteed” employment was a shallow promise. On Monday, less than a week after Bloomberg made his exit from the race and endorsed former Vice President Joe Biden, hundreds of employees were told they would be losing their jobs and that they would be receiving their last paycheck at the end of March.
Making all sorts of grandiose promises in the heat of the moment is super easy. But that was long ago, and far away, and it was so much better than it is today.
