Despite the odds, it was a great success. I haven't been that cold since I was in Times Square watching the ball drop in the late nineties.
I have a few IRL friends that were there today, they flew in from WA yesterday to join the protest and are headed back home tomorrow, on their own dime.

That's his wife of 7 years and a recent US citizen. They met in China when he was studying abroad according to the article I read earlier. He's an immigration attorney.
