    M&P Core mounting system

Is the M&P Core mounting system worse than the Glock system or about equal.

Debating on whether or not to get a Core slide or just have my M&P 40 milled. The option to go with different mounting plates if I want to change optics is interesting, but if it’s a crap setup then I’ll pass.

I couldn't say if it's equal to or worse than the MOS system as I don't have a MOS Glock but my understanding is CORE has fewer parts. MOS plates bolt to the slide and the optic then bolts to the plates. CORE plates sit between the optic and slide. The only screws are for the optic, they only pass through the plates and thread into the slide. The CORE plates have studs that align them with the slide milling so it's a solid platform, in my opinion.
My COREs have been problem free, no issues with plates or hardware.
