    This is what I do.

I have the AIWB and weak side carrier that Use every day , and put two more singles on the weak side.

I've never found a double that I liked.

    Anybody like this? https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1020597941

I have this. Its a good idea but I do not recommend it:

*the second mag usually came out with the first, unless it was so tight I could not draw it.
*Its so large its somewhat difficult to put on.

If you are looking to run four mags I would recommend either acquiring two of the Comp Tac mags which I thought were great

Or going over to run and gun land and get a belt and set combo, which is much easier to put on off.

So I don't really know the round count on a stage or what. I will know next week or so.

I used to shoot IDPA with a 1911 or Glock 17 (or another Glock 9), so a two mag pouch worked well. I could add another two but was thinking of an more integrated setup.

    Thanks for the suggestions.
Wait, they let you shoot guns in NY?

If shooting IPSC / USPSA, I would recommend the shooter's uniform: double belt and multiple USPSA style mags. Your holster will depend on on what division.

    These were really helpful.

As someone who shoots both IDPA and USPSA (and equally badly!!!) I would use the USPSA setup wherever possible. its so much easier and you can set up everything to the perfect position and magazine angle desired.

If budget is an issue and you already have a belt and some mag holders, go with the Comptac double mag holder to top you out.

I use five Ghost pouches for USPSA:

So as a follow up. I started using two different setups for USPSA and Speed steel vs IDPA. I went with the daa double belt and ghost pouches. It was fine and I was given good advice by Clusterfrack in obtaining it. I will say I broke one of the retainer clips in my ghost carriers and generally found retention insufficient at times, no doubt due to my generally slow, graceless and inefficient movement. But it was still a pita. I replaced with DAA pouches with adjustable retention.

Nevertheless there were inefficiencies introduced into my game playing by using different stuff so I went to one setup for all gun games, and feel that’s the right choice for me, but I definitely prioritize IDPA so you may choose differently.
