This will be a fairly simple live fire drill suitable for the constraints of many ranges, and will focus on upward, downward, and diagonal transitions on fairly difficult targets.

If your range does not allow drawing from a holster, start from a ready position with the muzzle pointed off the target and add two seconds to your time for each string.

You must shoot the targets in proper order each time.

String 1: Shoot one shot each to the targets 1, 6, 3, 4
String 2: Shoot one shot each to the targets 3, 4, 1, 6
String 3: Shoot one shot each to the targets 4, 3, 6, 1
String 4: Shoot one shot each to the targets 6, 1, 4, 3
String 5: Shoot one shot each to the targets 1, 4, 3, 6
String 6: Shoot one shot each to the targets 3, 6, 1, 4

Your score is the number of hits you made (out of 24) divided by your total time for the six strings of fire. So for example if you get 23 hits and shoot it in 25.55 seconds your score is:

23 ÷ 25.55 = 0.80

Plan to put this one in rotation. Lots of room for improvement. Second attempt, run times were all very close. I want to say I can shoot it clean under 21 seconds. However, I might want to start by shooting it clean.

This was my first attempt at it today. I had run some other drills, and obviously just shot this yesterday. I will note that having the numbered circles is nice. Remembering a sequence adds complexity, and I mentally want to shoot the targets in the fastest sequence, not the stated sequence.

Pretty sure this is at the limit of my function, currently.

Shot this today but we don't have a printer at home so I used the LTT targets I had available. Not sure how much impact that may or may not have had.

Shot it twice. Langdon PX4CC, JM Wing Claw 2.5 under a polo shirt:

6.67/6.01/5.89/6.26/5.48/5.24, 13 hits in 35.55 = 0.37

Tantalizing so I tried again:

6.37/5.73/5.79/5.58/5.58/6.70, 18 hits in 35.75 = 0.50

A lot of math so I probably won’t do it much on my own. That said, I shot this right before the Guerrilla Approach Consistency drill, and was happy with the result (31.58, -1 or maybe -0 if I just shot the wrong dot). Then I shot the Casino Drill twice (23.44 -1, and 23.36 clean - despite about a one-second or longer brain fart- which are both PRs).

If Mr. White does post this again, I’ll try for 100% hits.

Ruger LCR in 22 Long Rifle with Hogue boot grip, stock front sight, and bulk Federal Champion plated HP from a Mika pocket holster starting with my hand on the gun: 16 hits in a total 36.49 seconds for a score of 0.438

Individual string times: 5.75, 6.04, 6.48 (botched draw resulting in poor grip for a hot mess of personal failure), 5.94, 5.98, 6.30

After this, I reloaded the snub and shot bally and dummy on two 1" squares and two 2" circles at five yards. Freestyle one shot at a square, spin cylinder, strong-hand-only one shot at a circle, spin cylinder, weak-hand-only at other circle, spin cylinder, weakside supported at other square, spin cylinder, repeat flow. In addition to ball and dummy at tiny targets, will work pocket draws to first hits on small targets. That should work my deficiencies in specific bites rather than just practice the test before revisiting this drill.

Best I can do. I can go faster, but there's gonna be more misses.

First time I tried this one, I got 21 hits, but the total time was something like 100+ seconds, math done, score of .18.

I made the mental leap that this isn't a "pure" dot drill, and speed up. But I know my limits. I may try to shoot this faster, but I doubt it'll go well. For my own level 9f performance, I'm happy with this.
