So, did anyone give Safariland shit about Holsterops?

I didn’t even talk to them because I refuse to talk to the guy who was wearing the 7TS optic holster. I don’t care for a holster manufacturer rep arguing with me in an ignorant yet condescending way over what they think is best for my department.

I’m not stupid and I now have lots of options to test. Safariland needs to fix more than their web page.

Got this pic yesterday at SHOT of the General Dynamics NGSW entrant.

ARX160 is 35.4" OAL w/ 16" barrel.

GD Bullpup is several inches shorter (31-32") w/ 20" barrel + suppressor. Thats really impressive.

These twice rifles are ugly and as the Chief Firearms Aesthetic Analyst (CFAA), I know what I'm talking about.

So for me the 2020 Shot Show boils down to:

Rock River appears to be making an STI-clone
Drop-In 1911 trigger from Nighthawk
Colt still can’t make a gun work right

Did I miss anything really important? Since the new Dan Wesson and the new STI line was introduced pre-SHOT it doesn’t seem like I missed much.

Well, there is that scaled down .22LR Mosin Nagant and Tippmann is apparently now delivering their 9mm gatling guns. So those are pretty awesome.

I think it's a derivative of an Delta P's Brevis II suppressor line

Yes, its a new version of the Brevis II, designed to be as short as possible. Made with metal 3d printing.

Kind of neat technology. I think SIG has new suppressors built on this too.

It's very cool in a number of ways:

-Shortest suppressor design possible

-Direct attach, further reduces length by eliminating flash hider (-1.5")

-Designed for 100% continuous suppressed use

-3D printing allows internal baffle designs / shapes not possible with machining


To really appreciate what compact system the GD bullpup is:

AUG 20" no suppressor = 31.1"

GD 20" 6.8 w/ Brevis = ~31-32"

So even though the GD fires a much larger, more powerful cartridge, with suppressor, it's only ~1" longer then a 20" 5.56 AUG without suppressor.

A 20" AUG w/ SF 5.56 suppressor = 35.1"
