    I don't understand this. Only 3.4 million?

    Newman's Rolex Daytona went for 17 million or so.

    I'm much more of a watch guy than a car guy, but I would have taken the Bullitt car over the Daytona watch every time.

    People are nuts when it comes to vintage rolex, though. Makes car, knife, and gun people seem buttoned down by way of comparison. Rolex queers are insane.

    Yeah, I know, but, frankly, I would rather have the car to do laps than the timer for those laps. I guess I'm weird/normal ;-)

    Oh, and I'll take that Colt Diamondback along for the ride.

    They hammered that car filming the movie. Probably needs new tires, springs and shocks. Maybe a new tranny and driveshaft.

    It was driven for many years as the family car by the father of the guy who sent it to auction. Amazing that it survived the movie to do that. The stunt Bullit car is currently being restored.
