    French Military Adopts Glock 17

    http://soldiersystems.net/2020/01/07...edium=facebook

The French Armed forces are adopting a variant of the Glock 17 Gen 5 MOS to replace all current military service pistols, including the MAC 1950 and the G1, a domestically produced Beretta 92 variant. The new French service pistol has an FDE colored frame, threaded barrel, front cocking serrations, suppressor height night sights and is cut for the Glock MOS modular optic mounting system.

The French Army also adopted a SCAR-H precision variant as their new 7.62x51 sniper rifle, replacing the F2 bolt action rifle.

The French are in the midst of a major, and long overdue overhaul of their small arms and associated gear. They are replacing the FANAS with the HK416f topped with Aimpoint Comp M5s as well as new helmets, body armor and other gear.

So, is it in .32 French Long, or some other unobtanium cartridge?
