I will be in Terre Haute, Indiana at the Riley Conservation Club on June 27-28.

Here is some info and the link to Eventbrite.... https://www.eventbrite.com/e/surgica...myevent_button

Surgical Pistol Skills - The most high tech weapon is worthless without solid skills to operate it to the full potential.

This class has an emphasis on technical pistol shooting where we will be placing fast and precise hits out to 25 yards and even farther. This class will teach you how to efficiently and effectively shoot in a combative context with a high degree of skill applying both fight stopping precision while also minimizing danger to bystanders and non involved parties. Taking your shooting to the next level is all about grip, sights and trigger finger education, speeding up your draw presentation and clearing out the mental clutter that keeps you from being the shooter you can be. The class covers all of that and more and will also spend time addressing the emerging pistol technologies that are growing in popularity.

This is not a beginner level course. Students should already be able to demonstrate safe gun handling skills and safely load, unload, draw and fire their handgun safely from the holster at the beginning of class. If there are any questions as to your skill level and suitability for this class please feel free to contact the instructor.

Required Equipment -Reliable Pistol suitable for self defense and at least 3 magazines, carry gear, Eye and Ear Protection. Ammo Count 700 Rounds. For safety reasons the holster must fit the belt you use and must not collapse when the gun is removed. Holster must cover trigger guard. Serpa Holsters strongly discouraged unless that is your issued duty rig . A rain coat/wet weather gear is also a good idea in case of rain.

Weather Policy: If weather is such that it jeopardizes the students' safety, the class will be postponed or delayed as appropriate as determined by the instructor. Otherwise, the class will continue as scheduled rain or shine.

Instructor Bio: Randy Harris is a highly accomplished civilian firearms trainer combining both real world experience with interpersonal violence and over 20 years teaching experience as an instructor. He holds instructor certifications from Rangemaster, Suarez International, the National Rifle Association, and the State of Tennessee. He has participated in the National Tactical Invitational and is a multi-time presenter at the Rangemaster Tactical Conference. Randy is an IDPA Master Class competitor in six divisions ( finishing 14th in Master Stock Service Pistol at the 2015 IDPA World Championship) and he is one of only four people to hold both the Red Pin (Advanced Ranking / Top score in class) from the Rogers Shooting School (while shooting from concealment) and a Turbo Pin from Gabe White's Pistol Shooting Solutions class.

Admittedly I am biased but this will be a good class with a top notch instructor. Randy has been doing this for quite some time and it shows. If you have taken some good first steps this would be a great way to keep going.
