So, we're so far in left field at this point that it's not really fair to call any predictions, discussions, or other considerations "histrionic" at this point unless they based upon calling Zoroaster from hiding to fight a space battle with the Muslims to retake Persia.

Now, no matter what happens, if I don’t get to see this live on tv I’m going to feel like all our foreign policies are a #failure.

Holy crap. I skimmed through those twitter posts...wow. The people of Iran / Syria / Iraq seem pretty happy this asshole is in several pieces today.

We are at war with Iran. Overtly killing an enemy general is what one does during a war. What happens next is a pure speculation.

I would feel better if I had any confidence that our side had wargamed out what happens next: Get a bunch of good military analysts who specialize in Iran to think about what they would do in response. But I have little doubt that happened.

American flag/general officers serving overseas may want to cast a gimlet eye on their own security arrangements. For I would think that they are high up on the Iranian target list.

I knew who this guy was before yesterday, so I’m glad he’s gone now.

But Trump warned on ten separate occasions, that Obama might start a war with Iran before the election so he’d get a boost in the polls. That’s pretty hard for me to get past given the domestic news cycles lately.
