    Active Shooter Security Concepts-Ken Hackathorn

    Timely video:
Ken Hackathorn goes into extensive detail about what happens in mass shootings, especially in churches, and discusses core concepts behind stopping an active shooter.

In this video I noticed something about his shooting technique that resembles Larry Vickers and Ernest Langdon.

    Thanks for posting

Ken has long been Larry's mentor.

It's as if Jack Wilson practiced the principles in this lesson to the letter. He was quoted, “I only fired one round. It was the only shot I had, which was a head shot.”.

And further, “I didn’t have a clear window because I had members that were jumping, going chaotic,” said Wilson, according to AP. “They were standing up. I had to wait about half a second, a second, to get my shot. I fired one round. The subject went down.” He added: “The whole thing was less than six seconds from start to finish. My goal was to make sure the shooter didn’t get up.”

I've since read that there was a second parishioner who also inflicted a hit on the BG.
