Steyr all the way.
I’d go with the Steyr. I had an M9-A1 that I regret selling. I will buy an A2 MF next year.
APX Target.
Last month I got a P-10F OR as a possible gateway to Carry Optics, and 1K rounds into it I'm still not sure I like it.
I had no idea Beretta had a striker fired, optics ready pistol ready to go. Might have to look into that.
I have an APX Centurion. It only has 350 rounds through it, but so far I've not had any problems with it. Most of the posts I've read about the APX pistols say that they are solid pistols. Reports on the Steyrs are hit and miss, but if your decision is based solely on the hipster factor, then I'd probably pick a Steyr MF. The Steyr Forum is a pretty quiet place, but you might want to read some posts there before you make up your mind.

If you want to be a hipster, why rule out the Maxim 9.....

That's some real HIPSTER sheet right there
I still cannot wrap my brain around what “hipster” means, exactly. As I understand hipster clothing styles, there is no room for one’s external reproductive organs, much less for an AIWB’ed or IWB’ed pistol. Does a hipster carry the pistol the pistol in the purse, er, bag? Is the true main question, “Which gun is best to carry inside a messenger-style bag?”
At the most basic level, I will take a Beretta APX, any day. If I had to start over, from scratch, with no auto-pistols, no magazines, no holsters, from absolute zero, I would probably opt for the Beretta APX system.
Retar’d LE. Kinesthetic dufus.
Don’t tread on volcanos!
I had an APX full size not long after they came out. I kinda let it go because at the time the sight options weren’t great. I’m tempted to try one again. Mine breezed through the 2000 round challenge with no issues at all. It was a very fun pistol to shoot timed drills with. Ergos were very good for me as well.
