The interview Yamil Sued and Hackathorn did was pretty painful to watch. At 1:10 YS "now, we haven't shot this one yet"
16:58 KH "as a shooter, this is a much better gun". Now I understand he is directly comparing it to an older Python. I do. But, I am very curious how many rounds were put down range to reach that conclusion.
Taking a break from social media.
It’s perverse, I have to say. I bought both of my Pythons from pawn shops in the 1990s for under $500 each, and I occasionally think about selling them so that I can die having made money on a firearm. I’ve also not got a shortage of .357 Smiths. And now I want to try the new Python.

We may lose and we may win, but we will never be here again.......
I got this for half that, including tax and two speedloaders.
If we have to march off into the next world, let us walk there on the bodies of our enemies.
Must not be a very nice one. What would another $800 of quality revolversmithing and custom grips do for it?

Not another dime.
Here we are 316 posts into this thread and it is now clear that the new Python is having tons of problems. But someone implied I was full of shit when I noted early on that Colt was having QC issues with its revolvers.
This is my, "I told you so", shitpost. And a reminder that you don't need a mechanical engineering degree to understand that a revolver cylinder should turn when the trigger is stroked.

Damage Control
Isn't this what has been pretty much predicted over the past number of years whenever the Python resurrection was suggested?
