Registered Mag and a tuned 686/GP-100 then.

Or 4 new Pythons and a pristine 6" Trooper mkIII/V.

While I don't think old Pythons will drop much in price, I don't think we will see them keep jumping up they way they have been. They may not be hand-fitted, but the new ones look cosmetically similar enough that they will satisfy at least 75% of the market for something folks can show off and say "I've got a Python!"

They should "Diamondback" the Cobra, with a $1000 price tag. I bet it would sell well.

I was assuming the "Rick" character on Simon and Simon from the 80s show, I think played by Gerald McRaney

    That Rick carried a 6” M29 and his brother a 2.5” M19 or 66, I forget which.

I just looked it up and you're correct. For some reason I was thinking he had a Python, but I've not seen the show in almost 30 years.

It was either that reference or The Duke in “Brannigan”. Although I think I saw somewhere that was a Diamondback. I’m dating myself with that too as I remember as a kid them shutting down the overpass by my house as they filmed the scene driving to O’Hare. I stood on the bridge hoping to see John Wayne...what a ripoff THAT was!

Be still my heart. I had a 6” DB years ago, and would still love a 4”. To have a modernized one in stainless... I’ll be in my bunk.
