The George and open back Pacs with the finger grooves gone is pretty nice. I should gone with the wing claw to help tuck the butt a bit more.

I have the Rogers grips that are a bit smaller. The finger grooves and my fat fingers don't play well. I can't find another set like these so I haven't had the heart to take them to dremel surgery. Honestly, I don't think that would help me anyway. If you are interested, I will send them to you.

Where did you order that holster? Thank you.

JMCK CUSTOM The “George” AIWB Holster: JM Custom Kydex

Tony is a sponsor and regular here.

ETA. The holster is for a Ruger GP100. The colt fits just the same as the GP. I don't think he has a Python mold, Yet. Jetfire also has a vid showing his Python dropping into the GP holster as well.

I don't see Colt Python listed on the pistol list though.

The Python is 3oz heavier. I thought that the difference would be greater. With Pachs, it might be less.

If we have to march off into the next world, let us walk there on the bodies of our enemies.

3 Oz isn’t much when you consider the Python’s full under lug, barrel rib, larger cylinder release, larger top strap, and a possibly beefier grip frame. The Python’s internals are fairly substantial as well. 🤷🏼
P.S. I’m very superficial, so the Python wins this beauty contest hands down! Hubba Hubba!

My JMCK AIWB for 3” GP100 fits the 3” Python very well. Purchased 2015-ish.

Part of me now has a case of the wantsies for one of these new gen pythons.

Trading on the old name aside...they seem to be a pretty solid revolver and largely corrected the failure points of the older design from what I've heard.
