    Also, leather and stocks.

I definitely don’t want to stuff a Python into Kydex. A Sparks PMK or Kramer Vertical Scabbard is tempting, but I need to think about it before dropping the coin and time in either. Are any of the mass market leather pancakes worth the trouble? Any other OWB suggestions?

I love the look of traditional Colt stocks, but they don’t fit me that great. Hogue, maybe?
Kirkpatrick has a holster tailored for the Python that looks nice:

I saw that, and I generally like Kirkpatrick stuff. Thank you!

That looks like an ideal ride height and cant angle for a Python.

My thought, too - I’m just waiting to see if they do a Black Friday deal.

Black Hills does a scabbard, and Rudy said he can do it for a Python and that it works well for large revolvers. Ordered.

I really like Hogue wood grips, but they are so variable I think I’d want to see them first.

Looks like Colt is coming out with a defensive oriented Python variant. What looks interesting to me is the "redesigned rear sight". I can't tell from the description if they actually improved the sight, or if they just changed the frame itself, which would may mean the new variant is incompatible with aftermarket rear sights?

I’ve been able to handle a couple of the newest Pythons, and Colt was able to fit a rear sight that doesn’t move around in the frame. It retains the annoying little allen screw, so the WC sights still has an advantage over Colt’s latest. It’s still a great step in the right direction.

Wow! That 3" Combat Special is a revolver I could see in my hands and on my hip.

They look like VZ grips to me, but the website is only showing Cobra grips.
