My “backordered” front sight shipped the day after they were listed as sold out, but WC doesn’t ship on Fridays.

ETA I would/did remove the cylinder before swinging a hammer at the Python. It taps right out, but and ounce of prevention and all that. The old roll pin was used to seat the new one, using a brass 2oz hammer. I should add that the Colt pin was driven out 1/4”, and then pulled the rest off the way with pliers. The new roll pins is then tippy tapped in with the 2oz brass hammer, then seated with the old roll pin. Hope this helps.

ETA I guess I’ll just keep editing this post. If you were worried about even a hair of wiggle in your Python’s rear sight, get the WC sight. It is rock solid, and not moving even the teeniest weeniest bit.

I guess I'm going to find out how hard this is...

So the question now is... What holster do I order, a Milt Sparks PMK, 200 AW, or HSR?

I’m still looking at holsters. Barranti Sloan and CCR are on my list as well.

Wilson Combat rear sight installed. A total of 10 minutes, done pretty much as shown in the tutorial video. I didn't rush, but I've also had this sight off before so am already familiar with it. Very quick and easy installation.

This thing is rock solid. I have no more durability/fragility concerns about the rear sight, this one can be safely carried on the trail.

I'm going to try it with the Harrison front sight, which is .020 taller, since I mostly run 148 HBWC and 158 SWC in this revolver at mild velocities. If it zeroes like that it should be fine until the WC front sights are back in stock.

My rear sight arrived yesterday, and WC sent two front that arrived today (Saturday). If you can’t get a front red fiber optic sight, send me a PM. The WC front sight is as well engineered as the rear, and fits much more precisely into the slot. In fact, it’s a perfect fit!

Thanks to Frank for selling the gun to me, including the hassles at both ends.

Any particular reasons for going with the 3 inch?
We may lose and we may win, but we will never be here again.......

Utility, really. I have a 4” 686.A3” gun carries nicer if I feel the urge.
