    Chemical Guys car care?

This kit is on sale today and my last container of Meguiars #7 is cracked and dry. Would this kit work for a basic correction and wax or is there better, comparably priced stuff out there?

They used to be so much better, now kinda meh. Not terrible, not a waste of money, but I think the new Meguiar's stuff would be better for most.

I’m a fan of their Citrus Wash & Gloss when I want something to strip wax off a car, but otherwise I prefer products from Meguiar’s (3D Wash and Wax being a notable exception and my preferred soap between waxing).

What about the new fangled ceramic stuff?

The latest greatest Meg's ceramic is supposed to be killer. It's what I'm switching to.

With the understanding I'm not a particularly demanding or refined customer in this segment, I like their products. It goes on easy, looks good, and lasts pretty well. I clay bar and wax as the mood strikes me.
Sorta around sometimes for some of your shitty mod needs.

Not a huge fan of chem guys products. What exactly are you wanting to do, I can point you to good products.

I’ve got a little bit of experience making things shine.

Lol I guess I could have picked a better picture then my screensaver.

One of my buddies Datsun with something a little big under the hood. Spent a few hours buffing it out and then applying a ceramic coat.

I've been using Griots Garage. Nice stuff overall, the Best Show Detailer smells amazing. I enjoy using it, simply because it makes the car smell great afterwards. The spray on wax works well for general maintenance when you don't want/need a car-show quality shine, but instead need the protection of wax. It looks fine, but it won't give you the same quality wax and shine that a proper hand wax and buff.

I want a basic correction product for paint along with a long term protectant. Emphasis on correction, ease of application, and endurance.

What vehicle we working with? Make/model/year/color? Some products/formulas work best on different makers paint. Aka sticky Subaru paint, hard clear coats, soft clear coats ect.
