There is a S&W 30-1 3 inch for sale on a local gunboard. I don't know the seller, but it looks like a decent gun and the price is good.
The beater went for $2,325 and the reblue for $4,275.
I knew Triple Lock Targets commanded a premium, but ouch.
But it was a documented factory re-finish, which is actually pretty cool.
Given the low serial number and condition, the sold price was not all that bad.
Egads! Swear there was a pristine nickled one of these at a dealer a couple or three years back that was tagged around $1800. And it sat, and sat, there for about a year before it moved. Kept looking at it, back then, but couldn't quite bring myself to grab it at that price...
There's a fixed sight 6.5" with about half of the original finish starting at $4,000 with no bids, and a buy it now at $4,200.
