    If anyone has a line on a 4" M28-2 for $400ish let me know. Looking for a field gun so patina/speckled/etc is ok.

    I saw a really rough 4" Model 28 on gunbroker.com a while ago. Not sure that you'll find one at $400 online, though. I suspect that would be more of a local purchase thing.

    Ive seen them cycle on gunbroker. Ill see a half dozen go for under $500 in a week then nothing below 600 for a while.

    Sorry, but if I find one of those I'm selling something to buy it.

    My guess is even a pretty bunged up M28 is going to be mid-500s at best around here. Probably more like $600.

    But you find weird deals on Gunbroker every once in a while.

    I am always on the lookout for a great deal on the Highway Patolman.

    Model 10, 2"

    I was in the AIM showroom today, and they had a 2 inch Model 10 for $469. It was a square butt, pinned version. Counter guy said it came in with some 4 inch Model 10s. Never made it to the website. Somebody get it so I'm not longer tempted.

    A couple of years ago, I'd have guessed into four bills. Given the current economic uncertainty, who knows.
