I really like the feel of the Cross stock, how the Cross stock adjusts, how the magazine release is designed, the bolt handle, and the overall feel of the package. Need to do more testing to verify.

Do you think these type of rifles will have any chance to replace your favored Pre-64 Winchester Model 70'S? I am thinking these will need further refinement.

TBD, but the Cross is the most promising candidate so far.

I have a Montana 1999 action (Win 70 copy) in a standard stock. I would like to try it in a lightweight chassis like the Cross or Q but I haven't found one that I like. Can't find many people making a hunting style chassis for a Win 70 SA. PRS chassis, yes. The MDT LSS is not available for Win 70.

Figured this was pertinent to this thread, at least sig is calling this a recall vs a voluntary upgrade.

Sigh. I guess I will have to save up for the Fix. Although with the current climate I am not prioritizing bolt action rifles.

Here's the video clearly depicting the trigger failure. Fails to fire, fires on release, fires when gun is jarred. Begins at about 25:00.

Pays to wait I guess. I’m definitely a little bummed out as I really wanted this thing to work out. No interest in semi rifles anymore and love the concept.

Does Sig have a QC team? Or even test their products before release?

Why would they bother since people keep buying every new "cool" thing they release, and do the testing for them?
