    HK45 springs

I just started shooting my HK45 and noticed that my light loads won't lock the slide back on the last round. I know this because I beefed up the loads and it locks back just fine.

Now I'm wondering if HK, or somebody, makes a lighter recoil spring. I would like to use my 1911 loads in my HK but that would probably require a lighter recoil spring.

I can do several things here. Ignore the slide locking back, load heavier for my HK or maybe put a lighter spring in it. If a lighter spring is available I'll buy one.

    Damn, I like that pistol.

It may be the case that USP Compact or P30 springs of some flavor will work for you. I don't know, but that may give your Googling some direction.
