We will almost certainly be hosting town halls in targeted districts the week before session starts. I'll post more details as soon as they are available.

Expect gun bills to be taken up the week of the 13th (maybe even on the 13th). We should know exact schedule by late December.

It also seems that Northam is not going to have his "package" pre-filed early. They likely won't want to give gun owners time to pick apart the bills too long before they are voted on.

It doesn't look like there are any substantive changes to current law. It may be a placeholder, but Carter is pretty pro-union, so he may have other plans for that section since it limits striking by police officers.
