    Del Rio Sector Team Wins Inaugural Border Patrol Firearms Challenge

    DEL RIO, Texas – Agents assigned to Del Rio Sector brought home the top award from the Border Patrol firearms competition, The Chief’s Traveling Cup Trophy, beating out 19 other sector teams, Nov. 19.

    I used to shoot PPC with the BP. Both local and regional matches. Probably one of the last law enforcement agencies that still promotes marksmanship skills at the highest managerial levels. Very few LE agencies remaining that will fund pistol teams to travel to matches anymore.

    Yes indeed! Great shooters and great folks. The USSS also had a full time traveling team with some awesome shooters!

    Great job, Del Rio! Congrats on what was undoubtedly a hard-fought match.

    Like others have mentioned, Border Patrol can really shoot!
