    Smith Model 15 2''

I've been bit by the k frame bug bad. Just bought a Smith 66-8 3.75 inch. Now I am looking at purchasing a Smith model 15-4 2''. Looks almost brand new. Is there anything bad that I should know about this model? $850 too much to spend?

Might be the most accurate snubby ever made, but that seems a bit high. Don't see many in my area.

Thanks. I grew up reading articles by Massad Ayoob, Jan Libourel, and Dave Arnold. Always wanted one of these.

My very first issued duty weapon...from the same period. Shot like a champ.
There's nothing civil about this war.

Isn't a K-Frame like an engagement ring, you are supposed to spend a months salary?...

That's a 1911. If you're not quite there, you need more mags.

Supply and demand, clean K-frames, especially snubbies, are selling for premiums these days.

The only thing to be wary of is that this is gong to kick revolver addiction into high gear. No coming back from it. Head my warnings for I know of what I speak.

The price is a bit high. $600 would be more in line for a clean example. Still, if it's a piece in cherry condition, I'd have trouble walking away from it at $850.
We may lose and we may win, but we will never be here again.......

I have a couple already so wouldn't pay that much.
    They are fine revolvers.
Back in the day they were used a lot in PPC snubby matches.
