Not a snubby... but on the front end of a business trip this week I stopped in a small gun store near Sacramento to buy some reloading stuff, and there was a clean 15-4 4” in the case for half the price mentioned above. A little very minor character wear on the front edge of the barrel, and rubber not the factory grips but I have a spare set. Of course I bought it, never too many K-frames, right? Looks like 1980 manufacture based on serial number.
Question: it has a wide, looks like aftermarket trigger shoe held in place by small Allen screws, way wider than the trigger face, anyone know the history on those? No pics yet but I can get some next week.
From what I remember of 1970s usage.
Trigger shoes were used for single action target shooting. I think the theory was a broader surface made the trigger pull seem lighter.
