Why do these things always show up around the holidays, when I don’t have the extra money?

I have an Austin Behlert 1911 in 45 ACP. This would make for a nice backup revolver.

I just took possession of a 3.5" Model 27-2 today, that was modified by Fuzzy Farrant with his grips on it. I need to check the credit card balances.

my buddy just sold his Behlert 1911 a couple months ago.

Collectors get some interesting things in, but they're generally higher priced than I'm willing to accept.

I'll send you pics of the 1911 and the Model 27, and share the story about how I got them both. You'll laugh.

I had a chopped 25-2 when I went through a snubby N-frame phase. The cool factor was high, and it would have made a handy impact weapon, but I had a reliable Colt OM with more capacity and magazines that were easier to carry than moon clips.
