School me on the .38 body guard quickly, please....

Local Cabellas has these for $289.99 through Sunday.... are the worth it? They also have the one with the CT LaserGrip for $499.99. Layaway is an option...looks like no lock, roll pinned frint sight, ambi cylinder release....I have 50% in cash set aside right now, and the Mrs. Wants to know what I want for Christmas. It is either this or a Kifaru long/wide center zip sleeping bag.

    Examples:

    Name: 52800-Smith-Wesson-Bodyguard-Gray-No-Laser-103039_1.jpg

Size: 16.1 KB

    Or this...

    https://store.kifaru.net/mobile/slic...x#CustomerCart

For 20% off ($340 till Sunday....) the video portion is what sold me...

I know this is First Wold problem, but it is my problem......

They aren’t popular. They rotate opposite of a regular Smith. They don’t use regular J grips. The ratchet is a very different design. I was able to get the hand to skip across the ratchet without turning the cylinder when quickly pulling the trigger.

I haven't heard anything favorable about them. I was looking at getting one for the deal awhile back for a pocket snake gun, but I passed. I'd go lcr for a poly revolver.

    No....class dismissed.

When I saw you had the last reply on this thread I knew I wasn't going to have to say...well, pretty much exactly what you said.
