While I don’t know the .22 is the announcement, I have long assumed the .22 was the model 44, as it follows Glock’s secret naming convention.

Model 40 is a 10mm, since 40/4=10.

Model 45 is a 9, since 4+5=9.

Model 44 is a .22, since 44/2=22.

If it is a .22, I would be even less interested than if it was a PCC. Kinda hoping it was the rotating barrel pistol.

Model 45 is a 9, since 4+5=9.

But it's a sub-sub compact that only holds 5 rounds, since 9x5 = 45.

I think 48 would actually be the strongest seller.

- Training companion for those carrying the 48
- Light and compact 'Kit Gun' for hiking
- Introductory .22 pistol for kids / recoil sensitive w/ small hands
- Compact suppressor host

I heard it was going to be a high capacity handgun, I assume on the G19 or G17 frame, and slide.
