    Anyone load 5.7x28?

If so, do you have a pet load? And have you messed with loading 55gr FMJ for plinking ammo?

I see data in the Lyman #50 as well as the Western Powders #7. No data for "heavy" bullets.

    Loading the 5.7x28mm

I don't load it yet, but I just got a set of dies, a Factory Crimp Die, a Slotted Case Gauge, a Shell Holder and ordered a Wilson case holder for my trimmer. Bought all this stuff before reading all the articles on the Web and watching the You Tube Vidoes. Sure glad I did that before starting to load and since I have no real need to shoot a lot of this caliber out of my FN or Ruger, if there was more factory ammo available at any price right now, I would probably just sell all the things that I bought, unused.

Sure sounds like a lot of trouble and risk to load these while trying to duplicate what the manufacturers do. Glued in Projectiles, Coated Brass etc.

Anyone out there loading this round on a regular basis?

    Bob
