Will a G decocker kit work with a .22 conversion kit?

    Good afternoon,

I snagged one of the .22 top-end conversion kits earlier this year. I have it on an old Vertec frame, and it runs like a champ!

I would like to change it over to a set of G decocker levers, so it matches my other two Vertecs.

Is this possible? If It's going to be unsafe or cause accelerated wear, I will obviously leave the original levers in place.

As an FYI, I swapped out the factory barrel for a threaded Beretta .22 barrel. It makes for a very sweet suppressed sub-caliber trainer.

Thanks in advance for any insight that is offered.

Thank you, Mr Stern. You just saved me 60 clams and a lot of frustration.

Have a great week, and thanks very much for the speedy response.

You got it. Sorry, that's been one of my white whales for a while. The .22 Kit just doesn't have enough room for a G variant decocker with the way it was developed. :/
