LET is reporting The governor has declared a state of emergency because multiple counties are threatening to secede from the state.
Apparently West Virginia is offering to let counties that secede from Virginia become part of West Virginia.

Ammo tax is bullshit, but....
I will say they put heavy restrictions on dog hunting here twenty years ago. It’s been great for everyone but the generally asshole dog hunters who ran their dogs where the fuck ever and just parked on the side of the road waiting to shoot anything that ran across. It made many counties actually hit able again.
The hunting thing deals a lot with hunting with dogs. You won't see me complaining about that particular thing much. I live up against the GWNF and both shoulders of our road are often clogged with bear hunters' trucks sitting there while the dogs run around somewhere out there doing the work. Once the dog collar computer tells the "hunter" that the dog has finally got something treed, it's time to set down the beer and get out of the truck with your GPS to walk straight to the tree and either shoot the bear or call the dogs off.
Hunting? Really? Sitting there with your heater on in that $75k truck that drove straight from NOVA. LOL. Big bad b'ar hunterz....
They are trying to divide all people and all activities that involve firearms! And it’s working, some of yo are now bitching about asshole dog hunters, a small percentage of hunters. You may think dog hunters are lazy and unsportsman like but why is it OK to hunt in full camo with a high powered rifle with optics and 10 or 20 or 30 round mags?
See where this is going? Better stick together. Looks to me like they are doing a good job of divide and conquer!
While not a constitutional right dog hunting is long standing tradition in VA. If they ban dog hunting for deer and bear what’s next, no dogs for rabbits and birds?
But if they take your guns none of of it really matters AND THATS REALLY WHAT THEY WANT! Not only will you not be able to hunt but you will not be able to protect your family or your self.
DONT LOOSE SIGHT OF WHATS AT STAKE!
Little off topic but they are also trying to pass a bill that would give all VA electorial college votes to the national popular vote winner.
