DeSantis Fanny Packs

I realize fanny packs are not as tactical as an HK416, but I need something to carry my weapon discretely in uniform on my way between home and my retirement job as an unarmed "public safety officer". The DeSantis website, while suggestive, is unclear. I assume the "junior" fanny pack will not cut it for a Glock 19 (and potentially a 17). Should I go with standard or the II version

I would just get the biggest desantis fanny pack. You can always put more things in it. I had one back in the day. I gave it to a friend. I need to get another. I also have a maxpedition jumbo versi pack. It works well but the man purse does have the downside of being a purse. How about a messenger style bag?

Hey, 1989 was a pretty good year...don't knock it.

(I still have my cordura Eagle fanny packs...one for a G26 and the other for the G19. Maybe they'll come back like old ties do every few years. They were built great.)

That's a man-purse and they suck for carrying guns, I have one.

I guess I’ll be getting a HPG one! Check out CSM gear. They have a nice fanny pack and I used their drop pouch in iraq
