Beretta 92 with an old school front sight

I just bought a used beretta 92 inox. I bought it because it has a barsto barrel installed and a modified front sight. It looks like some body drilled out the white dot and installed red plastic like the old S&W red ramp front sights. It’s funny; I disliked the red ramps for decades in favor of all black sights. But now that I am old enough to need reading glasses I love front sights with color. Has anyone ever seen this before? It looks like a good solution for front sights. I can’t wait to shoot it
