For me...I have to keep that part of the trigger finger in that third shot on the right side of the Glock pointed as straight at the target as possible to keep from pushing left.

If I don't (like in this pic)...my shots go left.

I couldn't figure out the PM pic thing. Hope this helps.

    Regards.
This. I almost exclusively shoot the M9/92 now, just got a PX4 and it's similar. Went a long time without a Glock around and it showed back up in my stable recently. I find that it requires a completely different grip over the M9. Thus, IMO, if you want to get good with one or the other, shoot it exclusively for a good while. After 9k rounds in the M9 with a handful in other guns, it's really natural. I'll have to shoot the Glock a bunch for a couple weeks to really get the feel for it. I have a much easier time picking up an XD or M&P (the only one of those I have is a 22 compact, however), drive it out, and keep rounds on target.

Re a Clean Target Backer-reducing the visual clutter can pay great dividends. I start by first stapling up some brown "butcher" or "mailing" paper, then I attach my targets. My targets are most often, paper plates, circles drawn around CDs, 3x5 notecards, 3x3 and 4x6 post its etc.

DEG on the forums turned me on to butcher paper approach and it is most solid.

I unloaded and practiced dry firing with the presentation shown in the video for about ten minutes.

Then I spent about an hour and a half practicing that presentation by drawing from the holster, firing two shots (focusing on the front sight for each shot) then reholstering.

    I changed magazines as required.

I didn't try to do anything fast. I worked on keeping calm and making the movements smoothly.

I was moving back and forth between 15 and 21 feet.

I finished up by practicing firing from retention for maybe 15 minutes focusing very specifically on keeping my left hand up against my body.

    So that's what I did

    Updated

Since my last post in this thread I've removed the medium back strap from my 19 and I've been practicing dry fire.

The distances at my range are marked but I'm not sure where they start the measurement. I was shooting from approximately 8 yards. I drew from concealment and fired two shots each time.

This is the beginning starting cold. The first 5 shots

This was halfway through. Still 8 yards with Blazer Brass 124 grain.

This is when I changed targets .

    And this is the end

One thing I've noticed is that whatever I'm doing wrong I am apparently doing it very consistently because I appear to be hitting the same point over and over and over and over again it just seems to be to the left.

ETA: The target is 18 inches tall by 12 inches wide.

The Gray is 4 inches wide

The orange is 2 inches wide by just a little over 3 tall

I don't think adjusting the sights is going to do me any good. The reason I think that is because I was deliberately aiming to the right on a couple of those shots and still hitting in the same place

I think I'm either tightening my fingers or jerking the trigger

I don't think that pie chart is particularly helpful.
