    Reading their website, if I have to replace my AutoLock the Peacekeeper is the replacement. Their opening instruction also fits my roll call story....

    The Peacekeeper RCB baton truly is the Almightys Rod of Correction. They are essentially a collapsible steel pipe...with all that implies. Very heavy to carry....but when you absolutely positively have to break something right now....

    According to their site, the RCB weighs about 1 oz per inch. Does this sound accurate to you?

    The Peacekeepers aren't that much heavier. They simply shift the weight forward. If you're carrying a worthless (aka airweight) baton then the difference is going to be more significant.

    Per my kitchen scale:
    26" Monadnock Auto Lock with "mushroom" cap - 26.7 oz
    26" Peacekeep with "combo" cap - 27.8 oz

    That is almost no weight difference for a huge bump in performance.

    We have. The plastic, black basketweave roto-holster for the PCB kinda sucks. I'm probably going to go to an HSGI long pistol taco and screw regs.

    Speaking to the hiring/retention issues, I thought it was funny that this showed up on my facebook feed today:

    Join our team. The Fredericksburg Police Department is testing for police officer vacancies on December 4 and December 14.

    Our Department is the only law enforcement agency in the greater Fredericksburg region that allows officers to have facial hair year-round and display tattoos while on patrol. Officers who live in the City or participate in specialty teams also have the opportunity to have a take-home car.

    At least they are in a civil war uniform with a shoulder patch big enough to take cover behind.

    Side note, I can't tell if that's a Taser or a gun they are holding. What's the orange band for?
    Sorta around sometimes for some of your shitty mod needs.

    I'm not sure. Maybe it's a training exercise and that's some indication of a training prop?

    @deputyG23, any idea?
