Indeed, I’m pretty worried about what’s going to come out of the next legislative session.
As a local, I’m torn between adhering to our state motto or just getting the fuck outta dodge.

I just saw the headline. I don't have any connection to VA, but I was very sorry to read the news.
Looking at houses in West Virginia...... I left Maryland eight years ago to live in the Commonwealth and to enjoy freedom, and I have no desire to live in Maryland 2.0 (or worse)..

Keep running everyone. Great strategy until there’s nowhere left to run to.
The results are not good, but not surprising.
We have a guy in our office who just moved here from NJ. He’s buying guns now because he can. I told him to get his permit, an AR, and a bunch of mags as soon as he can.

All the various news outlets are making sure to include the point that this will mean more gun control for the Commonwealth. I expect that it will be as restrictive laws as can be imagined. It looks like my gun budget is going to become my budget for supporting legal action against these upcoming new laws.
Per the PF Code of Conduct, I have a commercial interest in the StreakTM product as sold by Ammo, Inc.
To no one in particular:
You said "don't like the gun laws? MOVE!"
News flash: gun owners and constitutionalists aren't the only ones who move.
Now you're crying about the pending gun laws that'll turn you into NJ/NY/CA 2.0?
Enjoy it, or enjoy running.
I've got a mag order in the basket at Brownells. G48 mags and Magpul 20s (because I have a...few 30 rounders). Fucking depressing. The G48 mags are on sale, $22.99. I suppose I'll be ordering primers next
